Farmstand Project at Bell Urban Farm
We are currently undergoing rezoning at our farm. We are proposing that our properties at 2001 and 2011 Tyler street be rezoned from R-2A (residential) to a PUD (planned unit development). We seek this rezoning so we can turn 2011 Tyler street into a local foods grocery store carrying all locally produced veggies, fruit, meats, eggs, cheese and other value added products. We would also like to offer community workshops focusing on garden and homesteading related topics in this location.
So far we have have conducted our public meeting and public hearing with the Conway Planning Commission and the next step is the City Council vote on November 12th. If the City Council approves our rezoning we can move on with our renovation projects!
